Mandalas

The Tibetan word for mandala is kyilkor, which means "center and surrounding environment.” In Buddhism and various other spiritual traditions, Mandalas may be employed for focusing attention, for establishing a sacred space, and as an benefit to meditation.

The body of written wisdom reflecting upon mandalas and the profound Kalachakra Mandala in particular, is substantial. The mandala can be shown to represent in visual form the essence of certain Tibetan Buddhist meditation teachings.

Our beautiful Mani Mandalas are a Solar System filled with the most well known of all mantras OM MANI PADME HUM, the mantra of profound loving kindness and compassion for all sentient beings.

The ancient texts say the mandala represents the nature of the pure enlightened realm. Mandalas as with all sacred art allow us to use our senses and imagination to bring awareness and joy to our experience of life.

Hand painted by traditional artists in the Himalayas, these very fine quality Mandalas bring a sense of peace to ones environment and inspiration to those that see them.
